Into the Desert

A train of westbound BNSF double stacks rolls into Cameron, California on March 7, 2010. These containers are leaving the Tehachapis and Northern California behind for the Mojave Desert and the mid-west. The crew on the BNSF 4314 (GE Dash 9-44CW) may be looking forward to marking off at Barstow this evening after dealing with a 10 MPH slow order back at the Loop and high wind warnings ahead east of Mojave.
