In October 2006 the Milwaukee Road #261 pulled a Fall Excursion from Minneapolis to LaCresent and return. The weather and the fall colors were great.
A stupid comment, but thank God they didn't put ditch lights on it.
 
I agree 100%. Luckily were not in Canada, there ditch light rules are much more strict including steam engines, like #2816.
Although I remember NW #611 actually had ditchlights that were behind metal grates in the pilot, couldn't tell they were there unless they were on.
