Hopper in the Trees

Hopper in the Trees

View West, derailment at MP 2110, between Easton and Hyak, Spring 1977.

Sorry to have fallen behind on the thread, more frustration from Earthlink, looking for a new host.

Haven't time today to read new posts, will reply tonight. Except to reply to Brian's first post since the last wreck pix: the Milwaukee detoured over the N.P. during all these derailments. We even had a set mileage for pay: 216 vs 208 over the MILW. The mantra was always "GET THE MAINLINE OPEN REGARDLESS OF COST." This was a continuing theme, as you shall see from my seemingly endless supply of derailment pix.
