GE U18C No. CC203 of indonesian states railway in Jakarta

This photo I took on my trip to Java in February 2005. It shows a GE U18C with 'streamlined' cabin, class CC203, built by INKA/Madiun, Indonesia, in licence of GE. The picture has been taken on the line out of Jakarta's Manggarai station to the east. This is one of the late afternoons Argo Gede executive class trains to Surabaya in East Java. The U18C is very common in Java, the states railway wants now to phase out all other types of diesel locos and concentrate on U18C classes CC201, CC203 and the new CC204, which is 2000 hp instead of 1500 hp and can run with Bio-Diesel.
