Duncan Station

At about 10:00 we get to Duncan, the next major city on our trip north out of Victoria. At one time Duncan boasted a fair sized yard, including engine facilities as two Baldwin Road Switchers were based out of Duncan as power for the Lake Cowichan log trains. CP Rail ripped all of it out in the 1960's when they realized they could deadhead power from either Wellcox or Victoria for less money than maintaining the Duncan shops to service 2 locomotives.

All the yard trackage was lifted, leaving some interesting curves in the track, and a 10 MPH Slow order.
