One of the strangest mutants to emerge out of the ALCO Century family. AC motors with 4,000hp make it comparable to an AC40CW, perhaps CSX should lease it? They leased dozens of rebuild CP/GCFX/CITX SD40s of similar vintage.

CP retired this ALCO to the EXPORAIL museum in 1998.

I think I sat in this locomotive at Expo 86 in Vancouver. Also saw my first desk type control stand there.
