Last Canadian Safety cab

More then 30 years ago CN invented the Canadian Safety cab, which has created such oddballs such as the GP40-2L(W), SD40-2(W) and the GP38-2(W) that don't look even close to their regular versions. Don't forget that draper tapers, namely Dash 8-40CM, SD50F, SD50AF and SD60F have this cab as well. Even today about 1/2 of CN's fleet is with the Canadian Safety cab. But do to "budget cuts" the Dash 9-44CW became the last locomotive ever to wear this cab. CN got its last order in 1994, and BC Rail got the very last ones in 1995. BC Rail 4644 (my first BC Rail Dash 9 sereis) is trailing CN 2674 on a lumber eastbound, probably directly from BC.
