Spirit of St. Louis

Spirit of St. Louis

The old Spirit of St. Louis sits waiting with the Pacific Ocean in the background. She waits as the Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay railroad, owned by Iowa Pacific crosses one of the many trestles that are in need of repair. The old Union Pacific Davenport branch was abandoned years ago and has come back to life with tourist passenger service.
This locomotive actually used to pull the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train in WA State. If I recall, the "Spirit of St. Louis" was an airplane. :)

Whoops. Thanks for the correction. Is this and FP7? I knew that sounded wrong when the guy next to me told me the name that day. No wonder why I could't find any info on this train. Now I just need to figure out how to edit the title on this photo here.
