A brand new narrow gauge GE C25-MP locomotive on way to Rio de Janeiro port. The truck driver told me that there are four units on way to Nigeria, in Africa. The loco is green with a white strip on side. GE made 12 for while, from a order of 25 units.
The GE factory in Brazil that made this diesel-electric locomotive for Nigeria, how many brand new locomotives does it make per year total? Just curious.

I do not know exactly. Since last august GE made 10 AC44 to ALL, 20 AC44 to MRS, and is working in this order of 25 units to Nigeria, and some repair of GE locomotives to MRS. So I can say GE can make about 60 locomotives a year. But it will do much more when the new factory will be open. They will produce 60 AC44 to Cosan, and many other to ALL, MRS and Vale, among other to foreign countries.
