To Fisherman's Wharf

Many moons ago these tracks led from the ATSF Richmond yard (behind me) to a wharf, where cars would be ferried over to San Francisco on the other side of the Bay. Consequently there has been no rail service for a couple decades me thinks, perhaps the resident railfans could clarify this? This abandoned dock is on the other side of the tunnel: www.panoramio.com/photo/10621689

(I was too busy shooting H2 9-44CW rosters to get my own picture LOL)
I believe these tracks are still in service. They sometimes use them for switching moves out of the yard. The ferry terminal has been out of service since the 1950's however.

Thanks for the information Superchief. In that case that it's a great excuse to have a tunnel in a yard of one's layout! You can even see the ATSF switcher working the lead from satellite: http://tinyurl.com/yl28zyf
