I haven't really been able to tell in a lot of the photographs, but are most of the locomotives narrow or standard gauge? Do they mix different guages of cars in the same train? What are most of the cars?

FCA has only meter gauge locomotives here in Minas Gerais state. The broad ones are located in Sao Paulo. All cars here and there are meter gauge. Since here EFVM / Vale and FCA operates in some common areas with broad gauge MRSL, bolth FCA and Vale have a special car to allow the trains switching on dual gauge yards like the one shown in the photo. The cars are called "maromba". It has different couples; one for meter gauge and other to broad gauge. The cars can have only one kind of gauge on the trucks, or one truck for meter gauge and other to broad gauge. look for pictures of these cars here in my gallery. The reason of different couples and trucks is the fact of broad gauge be higher than meter gauge and also can not fit the center of meter gauge line because we use a third rail. If we use centered meter gauge inside broad, we could use just one kind of truck. The only difference could be the height.
The maromba cars also can be used to allow a meter gauge locomotive work as a tail helper of a broad gauge train, or a broad gauge locomotive work as tail helper of a meter gauge train. I saw bolth situations here in Minas Gerais..
