Despite the interstate name, the railway is located closer to New Mexico then Wyoming. Pueblo based CW operates on five miles of track serving the Rocky Mountain Steel Mill formerly Colorado Fuel and Iron. Hauling coal, ore and steel since 1899. Three GP7s were purchased by the Pueblo Railway museum in 2003 where they have been hauling tourists since.
