CTRW 771

Wonder why 1004's side and back stripes don't match up?
Its nice to see these engines clean and colourful, but I miss the days of four GP10s in CTRW livery with a M420B or Rs18 tailing.

5 engines? What kind of a train could they possibly have been pulling? Today's 771 N/B dep. Saskatoon with 50 hoppers/51 tankers behind the two GP10s pictured. If they could do the job, what are the extra 3 engines for? 150 cars trains? 240 ala CN style?

Back in the late 90's they would run four GP10s and would often need helper engines to push the train up the hill outside pa. PA was still very busy after CN departed and the trains were substantial. Also we need to remember these cars are empties and that makes the load much lighter.
