CN 864 departs Chappelle JCT under falling snow, with 26 ALNX hoppers on the tail of the 2nd section following 2.5 hours later. Going to storage on the PNL Im guessing. Ive seen a block of 47 old CNWX Trudeau aluminums coming into town for scrapping back in November, leaving lots of storage space on some remote siding up there.

They sure do discriminate when it comes to storing cars. You would expect to see a bizzre mixture, considering how many different variaties of wheat board cars there are.

Elijah, the ALNX & ALPX cars are owned by the Government of Alberta. Odd that they're being stored in Saskatchewan or Manitoba if they're going further east, perhaps all the Alberta storage sidings are full? The CN Alliance sub alone has lots of room, good to see Alberta transferring us business LOL.

That's 6% of CN's portion in the picture! Storage wise, old Trudeaus/oldest ones are generally stored, so many have been scrapped there might be none left?

Saw a whole wack of Alberta Hoppers between Tisdale and Hudsonbay on the unused sub. My friend came up with the crazy notion that Brad Wall is trying to take over the west and this is just the start... :p
