UP 8583 trails 7798 (ES44AC) on a Northbound Intermodal, making a set-off at the Oakland Railport. Literally across the street (this is the beauty of railfanning a port!), this BNSF lash-up was getting fuelled:
BNSF 7419-5421-KCS 4111-NS 9372-BNSF 5451-4548-4373-4704
H3 ES44DC leading four H2 Dash 9-44CWs, sandwiching a NS Dash 9-40CW & KCS SD70ACe, with an ATSF Dash 9-44CW on the other end! The next day, BNSF power was gone, leaving the two foreigners nose to nose all by themselves under the cranes.
Sadly I didnt see BNSFs own H3 SD70Ace at the Richmond shops, good thing I caught 9385 & 9337 when they were testing @ Sutherland last year. Too bad CP didn't buy any, as they sure look nice.

That KCS Unit SD70Ace what colors, and you are right CP Rail should buy SD70M-2's maybe in the future they will?

Yeah, I don't think too many BNSF SD70ACes make it to teh Frisco Bay area...They run on the Powder River coal circut, and they probably don't get out too much.
I like that Southern Pacific bridge!

I too like the old SP logo Elijah. I got a full picture of it but it doesn't look very nice with all the graffti (you can hardly see it from here). I got another shot of it in Colorado on a different bridge, however it's a different color scheme (brown+yellow), same logo though... No graffiti thankfully. I'll post a picture.
