The tracks that were constructed with Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, SC have not seen trains in many years. Most of the ties have rotted centers.

Was stationed there in '66-'68 they rarely got use then usually to bring Jet fuel and ordnance and stuff to big to be trucked in. Nice composition on the photo, kinda makes me to want to pullout a folding chair and drink a sweet iced tea and contemplaint the day. Thanks for the Memories, Semper Fi Jon C.
