Goat Meets Goat
The San Francisco Belt Railroad employs two kinds of goats. One for kicking cars, the other kind for eating the weeds between the rails. They operate a waste transloading operation out of one of the piers and have a small yard on the southeast side of town. Built for the railroad in 1946, Alco S2 #23 continues to be the mainstay of the railroad. One of its weed-eating coworkers saunters by as it idles between jobs.
