Southern Pacific GS-4 "Daylight", running as X4449, takes a sweeping curve eastbound through the rocks of Santa Susana Pass towards Los Angeles to take part in filming sequences for the movie "Tough Guys" in 1986.

All of your Daylight pics are outstanding. My favorite train! My mom used to take the Daylight from San Francisco to LA to visit relatives. I found some pics of the Daylight leaving San Francisco and passing thru the old Southern Pacific Bayshore Yard, which is near my house. I pre-ordered the O Scale Lionel Daylight loco. It's suppose to come in May. Anyway... great pics!

The Daylight became my favorite train when I lived in Pacifica. You know, the city by the fog just west of you a ways!

I remember Bayshore Yards, but only from around 1981 or so. Glad I took pics when I did when you see what it has become.

Enjoy that Daylight loco. I've got HO brass Daylights in my collection that I bought down in San Jose.
