World's Fair Daylight at Callender

The World's Fair Daylight heads westbound for San Luis Obisbo as it passes through Callender on the SP Coastline running as #99 on June 19, 1984.
Hi Greg and thanks! I appreciate it as always.

Trust me, there are just some images, especially steam, where color seems less appropriate to portray the era.

Thanks very much Mark.

The ironic fact is that the #4449 had already been reassigned from the Coast route to the Golden State and Sunset routes by 1944. She wasn't assigned to the Coast route again until the early 1950s. Who could have imagined a GS-4 plying the rails again in 1984?
