CN'S Yazoo Sub
CN Northbound Freight Train rumbles through Philipp, MS.

Nice shot. We get the same trains here, exept that IC power is trailing. I've caught 6004 before.

It's good to see an untouched IC SD40-2R leading a train. Most of the times, It would be a IC locomotive with a CN paint job.

Thanks C.S. Jackson, I don't mind seeing them in either paint scheme. They are a bit more colorful in CN paint, but like you said it's always best to see the predecessors leading on their home rails

UP has a more extreme version of patching, such as putting the UP shield on the nose & the huge block with the UP number on the side of the cab over the previous railroads logo, which by far they have the ugliest looking patch job. Too bad they can't just leave the units alone until ready for painting, but they need the owners new number & initial put on them. I wish they would just change the number & be done with it until time for repainting & quit ruining the predecessor paint.

This guy caught 6 IC locomotives in Waterloo, IA while registering for classes: http://www.flickr.com/photos/61482010@N00/205244968/
