Summer soot and cinders

Summer soot and cinders

With the down-under summer school holidays you find soot and cinders on the Zig Zag. A family visiting from South Oz wanting to experience this got some exercise climbing the rocks opposite the vista to witness the pufferbilly departing the depot for the first run of the day.
Zig Zag 4-6-4T 1049 built in 1951 shuffles up the climb to Middle Points station.
