Riding the Helpers

Mid train f-unit helper set crosses the Foss River trestle on Stevens Pass, heading downgrade to Skykomish
No Jon, we were going downgrade to Sky. The train is just about at the west end of the trestle, I'm on the floor of the unit. The brakeman riding with us was holding onto my belt as I hung out clear of the grab irons. Remember, I was shooting with a Yashica TLR medium format so to get the shot I was looking DOWN into the camera. Good thing I was young!
