The UP connects with CP on the top end of this line at Eastport, ID/Kingsgate, BC. A lot of CP power is run through to Hinkle Yard and the west coast of the PNW.

Power for this train eventually makes it's way to Portland. I've caught CEFX 109 many times in Portland and in Tacoma. Usually a grain train invloved.
