CNs new 8-40C trails a SD75I on a manifest (ex-UP 9079) .

I likely saw this unit last summer in the Denver deadline. In this snapshot of the yellow sea one can make out UP 9092, turned CN 2127. Maybe CN will buy SP B40-8s next, like UP 1861 in the background, as they need 4-axle power and prefer used Dash 8s!

Don't count on CN buying the B40-8's. They just retired all the BCOL B39-8's.

Good point. This is the same railway that retired the SAR ex-CR C39-8 fleet three years ago. Are the UP & BNSF C40-8s that much better?
