Chips at Kegg

A clean UP CTE (a rare sight in this area) hauls woodchips toward Oregon as it blasts through the pine forests between Kegg and Mt. Hebron, California.
>About what time was the siding removed?

Probably some time in 1965-66, when CTC was installed between Black Butte and Klamath Falls, according to Signor's book. I have an April 1965 SP employee timetable that shows Jerome as a siding. My next one is from 1976, and the siding is gone.
