I was 15 when I took this shot. My mom and I were going to Grand Ole Lake of the Cherokees to see my great Aunt with my Grandma. It was taken south of Toledo on I-75 back in April of 1987.

I think that this shot says a lot. It's very atmospheric and really conveys a gloomy, wet, miserable day. A good snap for a 15 year old. Rail photography is more than sunny days and perfectly lit locomotives. Glad you hung onto this one.
 
Oh how do I miss the Chessie System and that great logo. As a kid I got such a kick out of the rail cars with the big cat on the side!
