I really like the composition and where you captured the train on the tracks. We have just enough to see the train can move forward. Too often, the composition is cropped too close to the edge. The lighting is great. Was it closing in on you or just opening up? The matched units and train works nicely also.
 
I have been in this situation so many times, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, of course in your situation you won. It's just being in the right place at the right time. I hate when this happens & you lose, meaning the sun going behind the clouds, especially when it's a good consist
