Backlit and working with it!

BNSF 5054 passes through Silverwood on its way down Cajon Pass. I was trying to see what I could do from my vantage point and "bad lighting."
I don't think that this is "bad lighting". Nice composition and dramatic lighting. I'm not sure where this obsession with perfect 3/4 lighting came from but most professional photographers aren't hung up on it. The dark background makes the train "pop" and the strong lighting on the rails adds to the very graphic composition of the image. Nice effort.
 
Jon, thanks for the comments. I like the shot and agree with your observations. I knew this photo would be rejected at another site automatically because of the "back lighting." This shot does a lot for me.
