Alabama???
Cascade Green and warbonnets probably aren't the first things that comes to mind when one mentions Alabama, but this Alabama scene was apparently commonplace in 1994. BN gained access to Birmingham, AL when it acquired the Frisco, and Santa Fe obtained haulage rights over the BN to Birmingham in the early 90's. Here, ATSF 103 west waits patiently as various BN jobs tie up the yard throat.
Great shot. I know where this was taken and it certainly requires a bit of dedication. Two thumbs up!
