Great shots. I also like the sandhills. Shots 4 and 5 can never be repeated because that track is gone. We used to watch passenger trains on those tracks especially on warm summer evenings. I remember back in the 60's some time when I rode one of the CB&Q trains from Chicago and we stopped at the station in Council Bluffs. It was on a curve and when you looked thru the vestibule door it looked like the next car was at about a 45 degree angle to my car. Things change a lot in 50 years. I wonder what the next 50 will bring.

With two railroads, flat land, lots of electricity, and an interstate, I wouldn't be surprised to see rail business grow on the south end of CB in the future.
