I am trying to compile a list of the yard and mainline frequencies for all Class 1 lines in Louisiana.

I want to save it as a text file and keep it on my phone as a note, so I can have a frequency reference whenever I am foaming in the said state.

I will also forward the information to Radio Reference, as I have in the past.

Radio Reference has a good source of information, but is not complete.

To be specific; I am looking for the frequencies for
Yards:
Kansas City Southern in New Orleans (Metairie) and Baton Rouge
Union Pacific in Shreveport and Monroe
All of Canadian National's Louisiana yards
New Orleans Public Belt (conventional only, not 800 MHz System)
Norfolk Southern (I need yard names and frequencies)

Mains:
Canadian National Hammond to Baton Rouge
Kansas City Southern Alexandria to Meridian Speedway (parallel to US 167)
Kansas City Southern Alexandria to Shreveport

Railroad police frequencies would be helpful as well.

I am also willing to share this file with others, once it is complete (and even before completion if anyone has useful input.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
You might want to check out the yahoo LMRG group. Pretty much everything rr in LA. There are usually daily reports from New Iberia.

The KCS line that parallels US 167 is now leased by Watco's Louisiana Southern RR. They operate on AAR channels 45 & 49. One is for switching operations in Hodge, LA & the other is their road channel....just not sure which is which.

Thank you for the information. I greatly appreciate it.
