How many lights are you using now? Steward has some nice views for night work.

My picks of the set are "Hello Joe" with the blowing snow and hint of the elevator in the background. "The First Snow of 2013" with train piercing the night past the Steward depot.

How do you like the Yongnuo flashes?

I really like them there just as good or if not better than the canon's
Great shots. Thanks for posting and don't stay away for so long.

Thank's Bill, I'm going to try and get out little more this year and post more.

I had the same question about the Chessie Unit. Also is there any talk on the radio after the train gets "flashed" Or does the train crew know you are there? I would think that would be a bright flash in the dark.

The Chessie unit was seen on the BNSF Creston Sub crossing the Missouri River at Plattsmouth NE on train H GALPAS1 16A on Oct 22 2013, as reported by a friend of mine. Info he had was that it was bound for a new owner in Cheney WA.

Is that a person in the right side of "Pushing Snow". I'm guessing that's the Troy Grove job.

The December Railroads Illustrated said the SD18 is owned by Vintage Locomotives Inc. ans was in route from storage at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson IN to a new home in Cheney WA.

Super Awesome Photos Gary! Great Work!

I am interested in your flash setup. You said you are using 6 flashes. Are you using defuses? How far apart are you spacing them? What are you using to trigger all of them?

Again! Great work!

Thanks Brad sorry it took so long to get back to you, I use six flashes I space them about 20-30 feet apart and I use Phottix Atlas II trigger's little expensive but it work's for me.
