Saw your communication last April with philandteena re an old cart they had. Maybe you can point me in the right direction with this one.

Recently acquired metal parts to an old baggage cart. Very little of the wood structure is left. Was wondering what kind of cart this was because the tongue is 11-feet long. Would like to learn its approximate age, and if it has any value in its present condition. I'd think someone would see a restoration project in this one.

Wheels are 28", axles are 40" long, tread width is 3". Numbers stamped in hub of wheels appear to be H197? and H198?. It is pre-grease cup. Thought this cart was unusual due to the horse-length tongue.

Wanted to send you photos but don't have a way to post in this forum.

Any suggestions where I can get more info?
