Peanut, just curious why you copied part of a post from 2015 and pasted it here? I thought it sounded familiar.

I just banned "Peanut" and deleted his posts. Thanks for catching him and calling him out. He did the same thing on my Trains of Edmonds, WA. thread: copied an earlier post of mine, then reposted it as his own. I don't know what game he is playing, but he can take his keyboard and play it elsewhere.

11 trains in 2 and half hours at Missouri Valley IA today. 6 manifest, 4 stackers, and an empty coal. Here are the highlights as a storm moved over to the east and sun peeked out every once in a while. Stack trains did crew changes. First time seeing a "ONE" pink container. A couple of trains had mid train units and all of them were looooong.

Only a few stored locos left and if you need to do laundry while you waiting for trains the Whistle Stop is close to the tracks. Small part of a rainbow too.

#6 with the 7814 in the sun and dark sky in back is my favorite. Mo Valley is still an interesting place to hang out. I do miss the EMD switchers shuffling cars back in the CNW days, but still seems to be plenty of action. Thanks for dealing with the mosquitos while the rest of are safely in our train rooms.

Chased the Bayard Local on the Old Milwaukee for a bit. Corn is high and also trees and bushes. Not many photo ops. This one is at Neola, IA. I found it interesting that the caboose still says "Wymore Local". Wymore is a southern NE town where the line across southern NE started, I think. It has been gone many years. The branch line, not the town. Beautiful day today. Sunny, 64, low humidity. Unlike Monday 94, high humidity.

Good shots! Finally saw a "ONE" pinkie today, it was on a chassis being trucked to the IAIS Council Bluffs yard.

A couple of shots from Council Bluffs IA today-first two of a NB/EB empty sand train, third is the DPU on NB/EB WPEX coal loads.

The change of seasons has begun in the Puget Sound region with fall just around the corner. I'll put in my annual request for trains + autumn foliage photos from the land of the Omaha Posse.

Took me a minute to figure out where the first photo was. Near the golden spike with a telephoto?

Duely noted. Corn has started to brown, beans will change any day now. With all this rain I am hoping for a colorful fall.

Correct-with a 24-105mm lens. And for the first time in 35 years, I was told I was trespassing at that spot! Said it was property of the railcar facility-even though I was at least 50' east of their fence!

Here are 2 from last evening. With fun numbers for Bill. 5464 and 5455. I had passed by the Iowa Interstate earlier but the road engines weren't there. I heard the dispatcher release the track warrant when I pulled back into the garage at home. That was around 2:30 pm for those of you keeping track of the Iowa's movements. So I went back around 6pm and Voila'.

Is that sunshine on the 516? Wow.
Ed I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat in that spot, day and night, and never been hassled. The world is a changin’.

Happened to see an eb intermodal while I was in Council Bluffs this afternoon and ended up in Missouri Valley IA to grab some shots of it. There was a former CSXT GE which is now a PRLX lease unit in the consist as well as an NS unit.
I also grabbed a shots of a white (maybe light gray) Ocean Network Express container; a pink ONE container and this one in the fifth shot, a company which I hadn't seen before.
Finally, on the way home, I happened upon this loaded coal drag working its way thru Council Bluffs.

UP OMAX Coal and Insulators at Murray, Ne, BNSF, KCS and prairie grass around Pacific Jct. 3 trains on the Napier Sub, 1 on the Missouri River Bridge, 1 north of Pacific Jct. all stopped. Apparently nowhere to go. Prairie grass is kinda the start of fall. But it has to get out of the 90 degree range first.
