They are sitting on the spur at the Phillips 66 carbon plant in Rodeo California. They are holding until the UPS Z train passes, to make the run back to Richmond yard.

I love those "Old Soldiers", that classic tri-color paint of Gray, Rust, and the Bloody nose... I guess these are now quad-color with the UP patch, (door and cover too), but what are ya gonna do??? Got to say, they take a licking and keep on ticking! Nice shots and picture quality.
 
Compression is awesome. Not sure I have ever used my 600 on a train, but it sure does neat stuff even at 200-400. Looks like its still somewhat green out there.
