today I will show you our last photos from Romania.
5th June:
At first we looked for a "vulcanizare". The other wheel was down too. We found one a few minutes from our "Hotel", but they don´t speek english and we can´t speek romanish. So I can´t told them about our problem. So I must drive a few 100 metres to the vulcanizare with the damaged wheel.
The weather was bad this morning, so the flat tire was not that annoying. After a half hour there was two new used wheels on the car. We started our tour to the class-624-paradise.

In the evening, we waiting for a local train from Oltenita to Titan Sud near Galbinasi. There was a monastary with a bigger cemetary and a hulk. 76 2401.
We sleep at the hotel TACO in Bucarest. We get a good room for small money with two bed´s and a air condition.
6th June:
The weather was perfect and we started to our first destination.
76 2412 with a local train to Oltenita near Tanganu.
We followed the train and get him four times again.
Like here behind Vasilati.
And in Curcani.
After the last photo, we drive to Galbinasi to the cemetary.

Than we drive to Vasilati. We had breakfast in the car on the tracks. However, we did not go unnoticed by the gypsies. They wanted to have money, of course, but we scared them away again. We were glad when finally the train came.

At the afternoon, we take a photo from 76 2410 who arrive in Oltenita.

And again near Fundeni.
After the photo we drove slowly towards Cluj Napoca. Around Bucharest there are no well-developed roads, so we drove through Bucharest.
No parking signs interested in Bucharest probably none.
Even construction vehicles without license plate drove in traffic.
We found a good hotel in Pitesti. The next day, we want to drive to Arad.
7th June:
The weather forecast was bad for this day, so we drive to Arad. Near Arad, there was a big thunderstorm.
We found a good hotel in Arad and get the suite for only 220 Lei.
8th june:
The weather forecast was bad too for this day. We wanted to start a railway-trip but every connection was associated with hours of stay. On the live-radar I saw a bigger hole in the clouds and they must come in the early afternoon. We look for photo-places at the railway line Arad-Nadlac and found three places.
Before we started, I take a photo from the Arad-tram. A old Tatra from Halle (Germany) The destionation "Kröllwitz" is from Halle.
57 0377 with a local train from Arad to Nadlac. 20 seconds before there was a cloud in front of the sun. This photo was taken near Pecica.
Behind Pecica, we get this train again.
A last photo from Nadlac, near the hungary border. The railway line once led on to Hungary. The railway employee displeased our stay on the track. Although everyone in Romania runs over the tracks, but probably no one builds his ladder in the track for a photo. We learn: stay in the tracks is ok, stay in the tracks with a ladder is forbidden :-D
The clouds broke up a bit, so we drive to the railway line Oradea-Nadlac. There must come a local train with locomotive and cars.
But this local train was a Desiro :-( We get him near Nadab.
We hope, that this train was a delayed IR. As soon as the train was gone, the barriers closed again. But something comes fom the other direction. A class 60 with a freight train. We jump into the car and drive direction Oradea to find a good place for a photo.
Near Chisineu-Cris we found a place. 60 1330 with freight to Oradea.
After this photo, we drive to Huedin to our hotel.

9th June:
After a short night, we started early in the morning to our airport. But we make a short stop in Macau.
One of our last photos in romania was take at this nice trainstop. 64 1264 with a local train from Huedin to Cluj Napoca.
At the airport we bring back our car. The woman from Rodna friendly face suddenly changed as she saw the car. Strangely, she saw only the damage to the car already registered. The two big holes in the wheel arches didn´t see her. Even the three different wheels did not notice her. A threatened bill did not come to this day.
