Friendship Wagon Train I attended (horse drawn wagons) we stayed in the fairgrounds and this historical park was right in the middle of the fairgrounds.

Do you know what the non-railroad pictures is?

Of course when you are asking to camp out for free you take what is offered. Here is our first wagon train night and Yes we are RIGHT next to the tracks.

Not sure how many of the mules and horses have had locomotives and cars drive by them before .... As you can see they ARE interested and keeping an eye on the train as it passes by.

First mornings break. The wagon master (leader of the wagon train) had to call the railroad and check to see what tie any trains would pass by this spot. We already knew there would be no trains so it was a nice stop and not an issue at all.

Another small museum I drove by. Always take the time to look at small museums they can be the best ones around. Usually the cost is free or just a few dollars to enter.

Here I go again with horses in a wagon train with a train......

The teamsters know the schedule of the steam train and make sure to avoid the time when they will move along the tracks about 10 feet from the horses.

In these you can see another spot where the tracks are right next to where the horses drive down the roadway.
