Could this have came from an train? The frame is 21.5 wide and the clear lens is 17" inside and red lens is 9" inside any help would be great thanks..

Possibly from a block signal. The red lens is called an inner doublet. I've seen that configuration inside a 3 light signal. I hope some other people will chime in on this subject.
