Hi,
My name is Dee and I have a disease
I enjoy pulling cannons with a team of 6 horses (mounted artillery), cavalry, wagon trains and other unusual activities. My newest adventure is ....
I am a volunteer with Niles Canyon Railway in Sunol, California. I have loved trains forever and a day and recently joined the PLA/NCRY Pacific Locomotive Association (PLA) and Niles Canyon Railway. www.ncry.org
I volunteer where ever is needed and started in Brightside Yard on Wednesday's WEDMOW Wed Maintenance Of Way where we replace ties, place grease in the three greasers, maintain equipment (I'll do a thread on that for sure!), chainsaw and chip trees and branches along the Right of Way.
Our track is currently 6 miles long and we do several trains a day during our operating season and of course the TOL Train Of Lights.
I also work with the steam guys (I am a gal) along with my daughters, I volunteer on the one-of-a- kind Krauss-Maffeii Southern Pacific SP 9010, I am happy to do anything and everything they can throw at me and love my trains and locomotives.
Please come along on a volunteers point of view and there will be pictures and a thread here to interest almost any person that likes/loves or lives locomotives.
