I am currently setting up a Railfan Day to Railfan CP on the Leduc Sub in Ponoka. And possibly travel to Banff. JULY 12 2014
Railfans from all over welcomed to come but must confirm their spot. Bring chairs and bring your cameras And scanners and keep hydrated but please do not be rude nor disrespectful to those who are fighting for photos. This spot in town is awesome. It will not be backlit and engineers are really nice. Also everyone here is very friendly and safe respectful. They usually do not ask what you are doing because they are used of.me Railfanning. There is a gazebo on the spot. Also great history too. All I ask too no trespassing CP are cool but do not do anything illegal.
Alberta is North of Montana Border. Accommodations are here too. Super 8 and western budget
