Here is another last week on the OPPD coal train. This is close to the old "Omaha Road" tracks. In fact it will traverse the CNW tracks once it reaches Carter Lake to the south. I am not sure how many of the north Omaha tracks were CNW. Time to find the old maps. Not sure why the 2 is so big.

Good shot. I always enjoy seeing photos from the Omaha Posse.

I was visiting elderly relatives in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, back in the 70's and one of them still referred to some tracks as "The Omaha Road."
