How cold is it?

A polar vortex has migrated out of the Arctic, causing many parts of North America to experience record breaking cold temperatures. In some cases the air temperature + wind have combined to create wind chills colder than the Antarctic.

Show us how cold it is where you live by posting up a photo of a thermometer. A thermometer hanging from your back deck will do, a "selfie" with a bank thermometer in the background is even better. If you can get a train in the photo, better yet.

Be sure to include the time, date, and location of your photos.

It's not so much cold here, as windy. 50+mph gusts, though it's currently 35 above.

I'll go there first, so somebody else won't have to. It's so cold here, I saw our mayor walking down the street with his hands in his own pockets.
